Solstice Festival This Weekend

As part of its mission to normalize conversations about plant medicine, the Utah Bee will host a theme camp at the Divine Assembly’s Summer Solstice Revival celebration this weekend at Sea Base (Grantsville). Please stop by and tell us that you want to write about plant medicine for the Bee or advertise with the Bee to reach Utah’s plant medicine community. Make our day and tell us you want to write AND advertise. Or, come say hello and play Giant Jenga with us.

The Solstice festival runs Friday to Sunday. During the day, 100 presentations and workshops will be offered on yoga, meditation, grieving, living, loving, and—well—even lock-picking. The various theme camps—run by TRUCE and Mormons on Mushrooms, for example—will welcome you and host you in the unique universe created by each camp. At night, 40 bands and DJs will entertain you.

If camping isn’t your thing, grab a day-pass, bring a jug of water, and join us on Saturday. This is where plant medicine will be discussed and celebrated this weekend. This is where you will find the plant medicine community. There are connections to be made, and the Utah Bee is proud to be a part of this celebration.
